B2B Sales Leads: Why I Study Prospects behavior (And Maybe You should too) Part 1
Have you ever notice how some prospects are declining our offer without hesitating? Yes, I’m referring to emails we send outs. Notice how they enable their auto reply of “Not interested” or “Taking a leave, be back at (Date)” Surely you’ve already had enough but you can’t do anything about it. But what if I told you that you can do something about it? And you won’t be doing anything illegal like Stalking or hacking.
It’s all about studying them. Yes, I literally wrote “Studying them”. You might wonder why? Well for starters, it a way to understand them and to learn how we can improve ourselves in marketing.
KNOWING YOUR LEFT FROM YOUR RIGHT
When we are younger, we are having a hard time knowing our left from our right. If you place a group of people and said “Raise your left hand” Some might raise their left but majority of them will raise their right hand, some of those who raise their right hands just copied what the others did and some hesitate before raising their hand, why? Because we are thinking if we are correct or wrong.
You haven’t done anything yet, but prospects will think that you are just the same like the rest of the companies out there, Annoying and stubborn. This is because they already have a good view of what marketers are. So the problem is “How can you change your prospects mind?”
CHANGE THE WAY YOU INTERACT WITH PROSPECTS
Sending out emails are cold and dull. As a prospect that’s currently receiving five to six emails a week, I could say that they’re emails are all the same. Dull and cold, even if you read it with emotions.
Try changing your email once in awhile and try sending two emails in a week (Of course sending it from different date). Having a good introduction and follow-up emails, send outs can help you gets your prospects attention.
