Leads are the bread and butter of businesses. Without them, there are no sales. But how come that it’s so hard to obtain this leads? It should be easy for us, we have minds that works and body to carry out actions that are necessary, but how come we can’t get that lead we are looking for? It is our business plan that makes things complicated? Or the fact that we are still a beginner in marketing?

Leads are impossible to come by overnight, some take days or weeks, but this doesn’t mean that you should give up on them. Giving up on them that easily means that you don’t value them as much as they hope. Yes, Leads are trying to play hard to get, just so to see if that company is serious about helping them.

Marketers are knowledgeable when it comes to prospecting, but it doesn’t mean that they are a 100% sure of what they are doing, some might just “Wing it” or some are trying to figure out how to get leads without offending them.

Telemarketing and Email marketing are just a few things marketers often do when prospecting and lead nurturing, but again, it’s not 100% that it will work on leads and prospects.



Knowing the leads well might help you get the lead. With a personalized email and script-free calls, you might get yourself a lead in no time. Of course you can’t know leads better than yourself, you still haven’t figured out who you are, let alone figuring your leads, but it doesn’t mean that you should let them know that.

Pretending to know who stuffs works are sometimes useful when you are in a pickle. Your leads should be your top priority, but you should take it reconsideration on how well they treat you. Remember that a marketer knows how to negotiate even in difficult times.

Show them that you can be a good partner or you can be trusted. this is one way of getting leads through hard times.
